SocialToaster Named Top 15 Finalist in GBTC's Hottest Tech in Town Competition
SocialToaster, a revolutionary social marketing platform, has been named one of the top 15 finalists for the Greater Baltimore Technology Council’s Hottest Tech in Town competition. For the designation, SocialToaster, created and developed by VMT, LLC, a top web and software development firm in Baltimore, will be featured at the GBTC’s TechNite on Thursday, October 7th from 5:30 – 830 p.m. According to the GBTC, being named one of the top 15 finalists is: “quite an accomplishment as we could only select 15 from among the 45+ applications that were submitted.”
SocialToaster allows an organization to recruit supporters to help automatically create word-of-mouth referrals and traffic through Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The patent-pending process provides for a proven way to leverage social media including advanced reporting and analytics for determining social marketing ROI.
“We are very excited to be one of the top 15 finalists in this competition,” said VMT CEO, Brian Razzaque, who created SocialToaster with a team of programmers on his staff. “People may not realize that Baltimore is a pretty tech savvy town, and we are up against stiff competition in the top 15. But we are also very proud that we have a product that we truly believe in and that is competitive with the 15 hottest techs in town.”
"We are looking forward to continuing on in the competition and finding out who the winner is,” he concluded.
Next steps for Razzaque and his competitors in the top 15 are as follows: presenting their position on their tech in a 45 – 60 second video, meeting judges during a VIP reception and awaiting the results. This decision will be based on a combination of online voting by the community and by a broader panel of Tech Nite judges and sponsors. Cast your vote now for SocialToaster!
