HOWTO: Set up a Persistent Django Environment in Ubuntu on Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)

I've written up a brief howto on setting up a persistent Django environment using a base Ubuntu AMI for Amazon's EC2 service. It's heavily based on Thomas Brox Røst's excellent article Persistent Django on Amazon EC2 and EBS – The easy way, but with several modifications specific to Ubuntu, MySQL, and the inclusion of apache and mod_wsgi.
